Send hotel options comparison (price, location details, walking distance to shopping plaza, transfer eligibility) to both M.Brown@gvtc.com and me.brown@gvtc.com by end of business tomorrow (per agent's commitment). Once customer selects hotel, confirm disembarkation time (likely 9:00-9:30 AM per agent) and proceed with flight reservation research.

What happened

Mabel Brown called to extend her existing Pavlus executive cruise booking with a 2-3 night hotel stay in Vienna after disembarking on November 12th. The agent (Briana) located her reservation, provided her booking number (GVY6B06085), and began researching hotel options. The customer was initially looking for hotels around $200-300/night with breakfast included; the agent presented the Hotel Imperial Vienna (5-star, Pavlus-contracted rate of $550/night including breakfast and airport transfers). The customer expressed concern about exact location relative to the shopping plaza and walking distance. Briana committed to researching and comparing other preferred hotels, confirming distances and transfer eligibility, and sending options to both the customer and her husband by end of next day (early July). The customer also raised a timing concern about cruise disembarkation vs. hotel check-in, which Briana addressed by explaining standard port processes and luggage storage options available at high-end Vienna hotels. No booking or payment was attempted; this was a research and service call.

Emotional read

The customer was collaborative, methodical, and appreciative throughout. She remained calm and patient while searching for booking details, asked thoughtful questions about logistics, and expressed trust in the agent's expertise. There was no frustration or anxiety; instead, she demonstrated flexibility and problem-solving mindset (e.g., 'we're pretty flexible with that').

Emotional arc through the call

Customer remained steady and positive throughout; no emotional shift occurred.

How customer sees Pavlus
  • positive · customer spoke approvingly of Pavlus executive cruise and Pavlus-negotiated hotel rates ('we did obtain special rates for hotels')
  • positive · customer expressed confidence that Pavlus would handle research and logistics properly ('I know you guys will be closed for a couple of days...that's not a big issue')
  • positive · customer thanked agent by name and wished her well at end of call, indicating professional satisfaction
Value perception

Customer: I.
Customer: Okay.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Thank you for calling Pavlus travel, this is Briana on our guest relations department. How can I assist you?
Customer: Hi, brand, this is Mabel brown, and I've got you on speaker cause my husband's on the computer here. We're looking at some hotels. We have a, a not, not an mile river a to trip in. No, on November 12th. And we're thinking about extending about two or three nights at a hotel in Viana. I have my booking number. If you think you'd like to look at we're going to from day one November 12th to Boo esh. And on November 12th we arrive and Dian bark, Indiana and it's Indiana that we are looking for a hotel.
Customer: And the hotel we're looking for is one that's right in the heart of the plaza, I guess, or the main area where you can walk places and visit the Chur of the cathedral. And we were wondering if you could help us with that.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh, of course, yes, we can definitely look into that for you. Do you by chance have your to reservation number on-hand. That we can refer to?
Customer: Yes, I have it right here hold on. Let me it is.
Customer: Yeah.
Customer: Hang on, I know, I'm looking at the invoice. Hold on.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Let's see you did also provide your name so, while you're searching, I'll look for with your name as well. So, let's see here.
Customer: Okay, I thought I had well, I have a.
Customer: To category to deck Ruby.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Or is that?
Agent (Briana Armstrong): I believe I found your profile here with your name and your phone number. Just to verify are you located in, I may mispronounce the city but both Verride Texas.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Bo Boveri uh-huh Bover that's fine. You got it right 4:30.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh, perfect. Alright, wonderful. So yes I was able to find the talk reservation. Oh, so this is the Pavlus executive cruise. Alright, so yeah, with.
Customer: Yeah.
Customer: Do you have by chance the booking number? Because I'm looking here and my eyes are going everywhere and I don't see a booking number. Do I need one?
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Yes, I do have you don't necessarily need it but it is nice to have it. On-hand just a reference that if you do ever need it in the future with tell. They actually referred to it as a reservation number. I do have that here so I can provide that to you. That way you can note that down.
Customer: Yeah, okay.
Customer: Oh.
Customer: Okay, okay, alright, I've got it ready. Mm-hmm I'm ready.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Alright, are you okay, perfect, so it's just set of mix of letters and numbers. So it's G, as in George, V. As in Victor, Y as in yellow, six B as in Bravo, 06085.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Uh-huh. Mm-hmm.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: 85. Alright. Okay, I've got it. G-V-Y six B. 06085, alright. Okay. Well now that we've got that so we thought we'd like to and now we haven't yet done a reservation for, or you know, reserve for the flight because we wanna make sure the days that we're going to be there so that we can get the round trip you know going and then coming back on a different date. So, I was, we were looking at a hotel but we're a little unsure because even though we're looking at the map.
Customer: We're trying to remember where unit world took a where it was like the main plaza like the it was like I think we had to take a shuttle bus to get there but once we got there, we were able to explore by foot where they had a lot of shop that was all walking. There were no cars in this big area and I was, I call it a plaza but maybe it had another name. And I just can't remember but anyway we're looking for a hotel that is situated just right by it or even just a little outside by a block or two or we could just walk to that area and go do a little shopping and looking around and eating out and you know just visiting just the local places there. So we found a hotel. What is it call and I don't know.
Customer: Oh, is there any that you can suggest that are I guess we're looking at maybe like $200.200 and something a night and, and with breakfast included.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh, that. Let's see here.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Yeah, so I know in the via there is like a famous shopping. I think they call it like a shopping square and yeah, so let's see cause I know since this is our executive cruise we did obtain special rates for hotels here. So in Viana the hotel that we're contracted with that we were able to get a reduced, right? The price per night is a little bit higher than the price point you provided. But it's the, it's called the hotel imperial Vienna it's a five star hotel and it's our price that we were able to get is $550 per night and this does include breakfast and this does include the transportation to the hotel.
Customer: Yeah, mm-hmm.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Okay.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): El, and then also at the conclusion from the hotel to the airport.
Customer: Oh, okay. Okay, I didn't know that. Okay, and is there another alternative hotel also compared? Like what maybe might fall under the talk selection?
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Yeah, so there's a few other preferred hotels that we have rates for Indiana. I would just have to do a little bit more research just to filter those hotels down and then especially filter it in that area that you would like to be. In that way we can compare the options. And I can send that to you and your husband. That way you can review and see which options best aligned with your travel plans.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Oh, that would be good. Okay, and that hotel imperial. Is it like right there at that shopping square or is it just a little ways away, or I mean I'm just curious cause it's a matter of, okay do we catch a taxi cab or do we walk? I mean, we don't mind walking after going to each of may we can do the walk but we just want to know about how far and, you know just what would be, you know, the closest that we can get there by, by walking.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Mm-hmm oh, understood. Yeah, so this is right and near that area I don't have the distance off-hand but I'm looking at a MapRight now and I would say it's about maybe a block or two away from that shopping plaza but when I, when I do a deeper research, I can give you the exact distance for this hotel. Perfect and for that hotel and then I can also include that for the other properties as well. That way you have all that information to compare.
Customer: Oh, that's not bad. Okay.
Customer: Okay. That sounds good. Mm-hmm.
Customer: Okay so top has other properties that we might be able to take advantage of say the shuttle service or you know the transportation to the hotel and then transportation to the airport is that correct? Okay.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): That is correct. Yes. So usually as long as you're within a certain distance, they'll still provide that transportation. So before sending you the options, I'll ensure that those hotels are still qualify for those transfers. That way you're able to, you know, get the most, the most value.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Okay, certainly. Okay, well that would be good and and once we settle on a hotel then I think we're free to go ahead and start making the reservation for the flight.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Wonderful. And then I did. I believe you mentioned you were looking at possibly three additional nights and Vina. Is that accurate?
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Did you want to do three possible two or three minutes? Yeah, I guess, well, it's depending on the price. I would say two to three nights so you know, or if there's a package or something or something special if we were to do three then you know, we won't be interested mm-hmm I'll put in the date twelve thirteen and fourteen and it looks like it recognize it as staying two nights. Oh, I see, okay.
Customer: Checking in the first day and then checking out the morning of the fourteenth. Whatever, I see. So it'd be the twelfth, the thirteenth and then checking out and the fourteenth. I think that falls under Saturday doesn't it? I think it falls under Saturday cause then Sunday would be the fifteenth.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Let's see here. That is correct, yes.
Customer: Okay, well, let's take a look at the two nights then and then I get this feeling Sunday might be a big, well, I don't know it might be because in the United States we have the Thanksgiving rush and there's people that start traveling a little earlier so not in Europe but you know, I guess I'm thinking of connecting flights for the United States. So I guess we'll take a look at the returning just the two ninth, the twelfth and the thirteenth and then leaving the fourteenth.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Okay, yeah, we can definitely start with that and then if the prices you know, are lower than expected and you do want to stay that third night then we can definitely look at the prices for those three nights as well.
Customer: That sounds good. That sounds like a good plan. Alright, well then, then whenever you can send that, that'd be great, we'll review it and then two something and get it reserved, and then go on with the, with the airline reservation also cause we want to go ahead and get started with that as well.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Wonderful. Yes, I can certainly get that for you. I may not be able to get that all completed by end of day today. But I can certainly get that completed for you by tomorrow.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Oh, no, that's fine. Take your time right now, we have it's only July.
Customer: So, we're okay and I know you guys will be closed for a couple of days I think July 30th or something like that. So that's not, that's not a big issue. Okay, so that sounds good. Alright, so, we look forward to whenever you can send that email so I know it takes a little bit of research and everything so, carry-on then. Sounds good.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Correct, yes.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Okay. And I just wanna confirm the email we have on file because we have two different emails. There's a note to use one email over the others. So I just wanna confirm so the email we have on file it's M. Brown @gvtc.com and then we also have me brown @gvtc.com.
Customer: Mm-hmm. Okay.
Customer: Correct. Mm-hmm yeah, yeah, that would be my husband. So if you want to send them to both of us that'll be fine.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Perfect, alright I'll definitely send that to both just to ensure you both have the options to review.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Very good, very good.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Alright, well, other than, I'm looking at those hotel nights or those hotel stays in via, was there anything else I can assist with or any other questions you may have?
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: I think the one little question I might have is, I guess on the tow cause I've never, we've never been on a to crise. So on the last day I guess people get sorted out, we have until a certain time we just kinda wanna make sure we're there at the hotel even if we have to wait a little bit. But I guess it's matching the time when we can get into the hotel as well. But, but we'll, you know, we'll look at that a little later but you know, I'd hate to find out we have to be out of the boat by seven in the morning or eight and then the hotel won't be ready till like 1:00 or 2:00 or something like that. So I guess it's like just matching the time. The only thing I'm thinking that's all.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Mm-hmm.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh, yeah, we can definitely look into that cause I'm looking at the journey details right now and what it says for November 12th it says depart from ship at anytime, but usually from my experience with the, with really any cruise. Usually the bar process is handled by port authorities and they usually require every once you.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): By 9:00 AM or 9:30 AM but I can definitely verify that information just to be absolutely certain if that is accurate or if you are able to remain on the ship until maybe, you know, the check-in is available at the hotel.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Okay. And of course the other option that I'm thinking in my head is, you know, we could let, let's say we have to depart by 9:30 or whatever as long as the hotel is okay with us leaving our luggage and then maybe we can start touring or whatever on our own and then come back to when the rooms ready or whatever. I mean, you know, that's another option so we're pretty flexible with that.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Of course, yes, and usually all of these hotels and via, they're usually higher end hotels and they will always store your luggage with a concierge until the room is available so that definitely is an option.
Customer: Mm-hmm.
Customer: Right.
Customer: Okay. Okay, cause I think we did that in boe we came at a certain time and we were able to ha, you know, put in our luggage and then go walk around and then come back when the room was ready. Okay, well, that sounds pretty good. Alright, well then I'll let you carry-on with see what you can find and we look forward to our emails.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Of course, my pleasure. Well thank you so much for calling in today. I hope you both have a great rest of your day.
Customer: Great. Oh, and can you spell your name? Is it, what is it?
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh, yes. It's spelled B, as in boy, RI, A, N, as in Nancy, A.
Customer: Hey, Brianna. Okay, alright, very good, I thought I heard another name or something but then I thought I'd better make sure, very good, Briana, well, thank you so much. You have a very blessed day. Okay.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Yes.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Thank you, same to you.
Customer: Thank you, Brianna. Alright, bye-bye.
