Full analysis
What happened

Lydia called Mary as a courtesy check-in from guest relations about her August trips to Europe. Mary's primary concern was whether she needed to complete any online steps for ETIAS or EES travel updates before departure. Lydia explained that EES requires no advance action (only in-person fingerprinting at processing), and ETIAS is not yet applicable (expected 2026). Lydia confirmed all itinerary details were in order, referenced the final documents and trip checklist already sent, and offered continued support. Mary confirmed she was satisfied and ready for her trip.

Agent (Lydia Lagos): Lydia from, hi, this is Lydia calling from pals travel, the guest relations department today.
Customer: Hello.
Customer: Hi, hi Lydia, I'm well, thanks. How are you?
Agent (Lydia Lagos): Doing well, I was just reaching out on behalf of rose in regards to your trips in August with to just wanting to check-in and see if you had any last minute questions on those itineraries.
Customer: Yes.
Customer: No, on the itinerary. No, I don't think so. I talked with yes, I talked with rose yesterday about this Europe, whatever the EES and the E-T-E-I-A-S or whatever they're called and she did not seem to know that I, whether I needed to do something online before I went.
Agent (Lydia Lagos): Okay, anything in general about that trip?
Agent (Lydia Lagos): Oh, yes. So that all those details should be included in the final documents that help provided which I also just recently emailed you both of those for these trips coming up here.
Customer: Yes.
Agent (Lydia Lagos): And it does include in the, let's see which page that is on page five. It does reference the EES travel updates that doesn't require anything ahead of time. So that would just be a change and how the passport processing goes. So, they would require fingerprints and things of that nature. It would, it's also been described as kind of like a giant iPad processing as opposed to the more traditional way but that one doesn't require anything ahead of time for you.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Yeah, okay.
Customer: Okay, good.
Agent (Lydia Lagos): Mm-hmm and then that ETIAS is not applicable yet. And that would be, that's not expected to be initiated until the later 2026 if even that, so.
Customer: And.
Customer: Okay. Well that's kind of, that's kind of where I was going with that and when I talked with her yesterday, she was going to check with talk. So, would you just tell her that you have answered my questions?
Agent (Lydia Lagos): Oh, yes, absolutely. Will do.
Customer: And everything else seems to be in place, unless there's an airline change somewhere that I'm not aware of but I know you guys send that to me.
Agent (Lydia Lagos): Yes, and I just recently checked with Al as well and they said all details are in order between these two itinerary. So you are all set and if you think of any other questions too I did just recently email you an upcoming trip checklist with these documents attached as well. So, you can always respond there with any questions or use that phone number to reach me as well.
Customer: I'm all set.
Customer: Oh.
Customer: Okay, that sounds good. I appreciate your help Leanne.
Agent (Lydia Lagos): My pleasure. Have a great day.
Customer: Thank you. You also, bye-bye.
Agent (Lydia Lagos): Thank you, bye-bye.
