Full analysis
What happened

Curtis called back (outbound) regarding a group trip booking with his wife April and friends. He requested to move the trip from May to late June or July because friends would be delayed due to a wedding, and because July weather in Switzerland would permit river swimming in Bern—an activity impossible in May due to cold water. The agent Briana confirmed she lacked access to availability and would pass the request to planner Diane, noting that changes may need to happen before Curtis's final payment Friday. Curtis expressed confidence the group could accommodate the new dates and seemed ready to proceed pending Diane's review of options.

Emotional read

The customer was warm, appreciative, and collaborative throughout. He expressed gratitude twice ('Thank you for calling me back. Enjoy talking to you so much the first time' and 'very good, thank you'). He was solution-oriented, thinking through logistics proactively (mentioning the Friday payment deadline himself) and enthusiastic about the Switzerland activity possibility. No frustration or anxiety detected.

Emotional arc through the call

Remained consistently warm and collaborative; became slightly more engaged and enthusiastic when discussing the Switzerland river activity possibility.

Customer: Hello.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Hello Curtis, this is Briana calling from publish travel.
Customer: Thank you for calling me back. Enjoy talking to you so much the first time.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Yes.
Customer: So, I have a question for you. Our friends are gonna end up be coming late because the mans son is getting married on the Saturday. So, but I started talking to the wife April about when we're going and I'm not sure why we chose the may date but we're wondering now if it's possible to push it off later into June so, that we can go into the app.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh, got it. Yeah, with something like that was moving the actual void dates itself that is something that I would have to have the travel planner Diane, take a look into, cause that aspect, I don't have availability or access to view that availability, so I can pass that message to Diane, I have both of your booking numbers and so you're both just looking to move it just to the start of June or see what the availability is for the month of June.
Customer: I'm thinking actually maybe late June into July so, that, that's gonna help us out in a couple of ways. One, it's going to make open up the options of going into the apps more. And the second thing is have you been to Switzerland.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): No, I personally have not.
Customer: So one of the cool things that you can do and burn that the makes a horseshoe around the city and one of the things people like to do is they jump in the river and let it carry them all around the other side and then they get out, but you can't do that in may. It's too cold but in July and in July we could go swimming and burn.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Yes.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Perfect, yeah, no, that definitely sounds like something you have to experience. So yeah, we can look at what the availability is and I'll have Diane reach out to you and see what your options are.
Customer: Yeah, so my, here's the big question that we're going to get a draw on the, on Friday. So, do you have any idea if we would need to make that change before Friday?
Agent (Briana Armstrong): From my understanding, yeah, you do, just because I believe there's different stipulations once your booking is paid in full. But I'll address that to Diane as well letting her know that your final payment is approaching within the next few days. That way, we can get this looked at before then just in case any changes do need to be made.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Okay, very good, thank you.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh, of course, my pleasure. Anything else I can assist you with or any other questions that came to mind?
Customer: No, that's it. This is, I think if we can do this since I've already talked to the pleasant. They're available during those days. Talk to my wife. She thinks that works good. It'll let us go into the office what you wanna do and so I think we'd like to try to do that if we can.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Perfect. Yeah, we can take a look into that. So I'll hold off on making any deviation and changes to your current reservation until you've spoken with Diane and review your options for June.
Customer: Very good, thank you.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Oh, my pleasure. Why I thank you for taking my call today.
Customer: You're welcome. Have a great day.
Agent (Briana Armstrong): Thanks you as well. Bye.
Customer: Bye.
